Parking Guidelines and Enforcement
Published: September 18, 2025
We hope this message finds you well. The Board would like to remind all residents of the community’s parking rules, as outlined in the Southfork Estates Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CCRs).
Recently, we have observed an increase in vehicles being parked on the street for extended periods of time, including damaged cars, semi-trucks, and other vehicles that may obstruct traffic or create safety concerns. Please note that street parking is intended for short-term use or guests only. Homeowners and residents should utilize their garages and driveways for regular and overflow parking whenever possible.
Per Section **3.15 – Parking** of the CCRs:
All Owners and Residents are encouraged to park vehicles in the garage on their Lot and use the driveways on their Lot as overflow parking. On street parking is limited to guests and visitors. No vehicle may obstruct the flow of traffic, constitute a nuisance, or otherwise create a safety hazard, as determined by the Board in its sole discretion. No vehicle may be parked in a manner that obstructs or otherwise blocks ingress and egress to any part of the Property by an emergency vehicle, as determined by the Board in its sole discretion. The parking of vehicles in the yard of any Lot is not permitted.
Additionally, please be advised that any vehicle left on the street for longer than 72 hours is subject to towing at the owner’s expense.
To help maintain the safety and appearance of our community, we encourage residents to report vehicles that appear to be stored or left on the street for extended periods of time. Reports may be submitted to the management office for review and follow-up.
We kindly ask for your cooperation in following these guidelines and assisting in keeping Southfork Estates a safe and welcoming neighborhood.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. Should you have any questions, please contact the management office.
